US Regional Account Manager


We are currently seeking candidates with proven results and a customer centric oriented sales background to join our growing team. This regional management role will support the A.C. Lighting’s new ProMedia division for the US markets.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Regional Account Manager will report to the Vice President, Sales and is responsible for building the A.C. ProMedia market and driving sales of premium AV, Lighting and/or Media products into the “Architainment” industry. The scope of work includes but is not limited to, growing and driving sales including lead qualification, quota management, funnel management, budget management, sales planning, dealer recruitment and product training.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Grow the A.C. ProMedia business and achieve annual sales targets with existing and new accounts.
  • Prospects for new sales opportunities within defined market while developing relationships with consultants and key influencers.
  • Arranges travel schedule to visit existing and new potential clients, attend dealer open houses and trade shows plus product training with the target of spending 50%+ of the time in front of customers on the road.
  • Communicates effectively with management.
  • Ships, tracks and processes demo equipment.
  • Prepares and provides customers with professional sales quotations based upon Company guidelines.
  • Arranges for product to be shipped to customer’s satisfaction and timelines based upon product availability and client expectation.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction rating with existing and new accounts.
  • Attend all required Trade Shows.
  • Learns all exclusive product lines to the skill set of being able to demonstrate and run the equipment to showcase the product lines.
  • Organizes, promotes and assists in coordinating product, dealer and staff training sessions

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently or with a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to negotiate with clients
  • Ability to develop relationships with consultants, designers, architects, contractors and project managers
  • Knowledge of audio, video, lighting and networking products and solutions aimed at commercial, multimedia, architectural and A/V markets
  • Ability to understand the scope of a project
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in customer service and client relationships
  • Ability to stoop, kneel or climb and on occasion lift up to 50’ pounds

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Sales from an accredited University/College preferred
  • CTS (Certified Technical Specialist) or equivalent preferred but not required
  • 10 years of Pro-lighting/AV or Media sales experience
  • 5-10 Years of AV experience and knowledge of lighting is preferred.

Shipping/Receiving Lead Hand


Job Summary

The Lead Hand organizes and monitors the receiving, shipping, storage and distribution of all items received either from suppliers, vendors and/or the Manufacturing Department. The incumbent will ensure a smooth and consistent operation so parts and supplies are located and distributed in an effective and efficient manner as needed to satisfy internal and external customer requirements.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversees and participates in the loading and unloading of deliveries/incoming shipments and problem solves for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries, and communicates respective information to all internal departments/employees as required.
  • Follows standard warehousing operations/practices with respect to all equipment, procedures/processes to achieve documented Logistic management goals improving customer service levels while streamlining warehousing activities.
  • Oversees daily routes/schedules of shipments and deliveries.
  • Communicates with 3rd party carriers related to transportation or material handling.
  • Participates in cycle-counting program to ensure accuracy of inventory levels.
  • Provides training to all employees on warehousing, shipping and receiving policy and procedures.
  • Ensures Quality Assurance processes/policies are maintained as they relate to functional processes within the scope of receiving, inbound inspection material storage and disposition.
  • Ensures that health and safety programs are supported and enforced in a manner that safeguards the protection of staff and promotes prompt responses to health and safety concerns or incidents.
  • Fosters and maintains a continuous improvement environment through communication, teamwork and development of all employees.
  • Records data in support of KPI’s around the Department’s Continuous Improvement and Cycle Time reduction activities/objectives.
  • Duties and responsibilities may be amended from time to time in order to support efficient company operations.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • 7 years of experience in shipping/receiving, warehousing and inventory control in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment; experience in LTL and domestic and international parcel shipping preferred
  • 5 years of Lead Hand experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of all aspects of warehouse operations including understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
  • Proactive and mature style with proven success in achieving results
  • Knowledge of internal control systems and procedures
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation including health and safety
  • Knowledge of Lead Hand practices and principles
  • Experience gained in a continuous improvement or re-engineering setting
  • Extensive skills in conducting investigations and gathering information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Understanding point of entry and duty principles for border crossing (HS codes, Duty draw back)
  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to multitask and find solutions
  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Valid Forklift Licence (Raymond Reach; Counterbalanced Forklift)

Recruiter- Talent Acquisition


JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly motivated Recruiter with full-cycle recruiting experience, from talent sourcing, attracting candidates to interviewing and onboarding new hires. We need a team player who can keep pace with the company’s growth trajectory. The successful candidate will have a keen eye when reviewing resumes and conducting interviews.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process

SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter)
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Ability to administer and leverage behavioral assessment tools – Culture Index for successful hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good time-management skills
  • Degree in HR or Business Administration or relevant field
